How to win customer’s satisfaction?
Make a good first impression: A good hygiene, neat and clean outfit, a good posture garnished with a warm smile makes you look confident and appealing.
Personalize: A win card to make a great connection is to memorize your guest’s name and greet him using it. He is more than just a source of money and trust me this will make you earn more than what you imagine…
Listen actively: The more you listen, the better you understand your client’s profile, detect his preferences and exceed his expectation. Be sincere and empathic.
Go the extra mile: Think of what makes your service special, what makes your guest choose you. You don’t need to offer complimentary services to retain your guests. A personalized gesture can make the deal.
Stay in touch: You might be working within a huge team however it is important for your guest to have the same familiar person to deal with his needs.
Make it simple: Choose the easiest channel of communication with your guest. Be friendly while staying professional. Never cross boundaries.
Ask for feedback: To make sure you’re doing a good job you need to hear it out loud. A happy guest will not necessary provide a feedback unless you ask for it. Ask questions and show your interest in always trying to make things even greater.
Always in the loop: Never lack information or training related to your job. Your knowledge is your key to impress.
Handover: If you are working as a team, it is important to keep everyone up to date and pass on any information shared by your guest. You do not work 24/7 and nobody would like to repeat what has already been said.
Finally, keep it real, that makes you unique. No matter how much you can simulate, it will still show. If you are not welcoming, choose another job that does not involve contacting clients.
